Must.....Stop......Eating

This may be my 50 pound pregnancy. I am hungry all of the time. My stomach seriously growls all of the time.

With Hayden I craved fruits and "healthier" foods. Not that I didn't enjoy my share of cheeseburgers and onion rings.

This time all I want is nutty bars, Arby's french dips, Wendy's chicken sandwiches, Taco Bell.

Hopefully these cravings subside. :)

Have I ever mentioned.......

how much I love our neighbor? Tonight Nancy called to invite Hayden over for Swedish meatballs and to take him for a walk in his wagon since it is such a nice evening. She is AWESOME!

Summer Fun

Taking a break from work enjoying a fresh baked cookie from Nancy.

Hayden wears his safety goggles when daddy is out weed wacking because daddy has his. He looks so cute in them. Future scientist in the making.

Willems Reunion

Sunday we had the annual Willems reunion. It was another beautiful mild summer day and the kids had a BLAST on the farm. Hayden even got to ride on a HUGE tractor. It was great to catch up with everyone and have all of the cousins together.

Saturday we drove to Davenport to meet our hours old new nephew Matthew. It was so great to see him and hold a new baby. It has been a while.
Then we were off to DeWitt to the farm for some playtime for the kids and off to the fair and demolition derby in town.
The kids had blasts riding the rides. Hayden did until the boat jerked violently, then he freaked out. (Pic Above) :)
Then we ate some yummy fair food and watched the derby. It was a great time and was nice to spend some time with the cousins. Hayden had a blast with them all.

Minneapolis Trip

Listening to a DVD in Grandma's new van.

Watching the bear swim

Eating his first novelty ice cream treat. :)

Watching the rides at the Mall of America

Driving the trucks.

Potty break.

Another Potty break.

We had a great time in MN. It was a beautiful day for the zoo and Hayden LOVED the animals. It was also great to meet Andrew's family. They are a great bunch. Hayden loved staying in the hotel and was a great little traveler. We stopped by the Mall of America on our way out of town and wandered around. It was a great trip.

Beach Towel

This morning Joey had to dry himself off after his shower with the only clean towel in the house. A beach towel.

Last week we ran out of bread and milk.

Guess since I am feeling so crappy the house is going to heck. It would be a lot worse if Joey wasn't such a great help. At least he can cook dinner a couple of times a week so we don't starve.

1 week until I hit 12 weeks. Hopefully that will be the magic non-nauseous, non-headache turning point. Thankfully I only fell really bad once every few days.

Off to do the laundry.

We are here

I am here, but with no pics to show. I attempted to get a great one of Joey and Hayden mowing the lawn last night, both with their mowers, and both with their safety glasses, but as soon as Hayden saw the camera he took off his glasses and looked down. Stinker. That is why I don't get many pics lately. I should try more. That is my goal for the rest of the summer.

I have been feeling crappy. At least I haven't thrown up yet like I did all the time with Hayden. So I guess that is a plus.

Hayden has been keeping me laughing saying things like, "Hey mom I want to go to Chuck E Chees and play skeeze ball", or like peeing his pants yesterday morning after he got up and proclaiming that he wants to wear diapers again and was going to throw his potty in the garbage, while trying to drag it to the garbage.

He has been doing very well with the potty thing. He even has since yesterday's revolt. He has been dry every night. We have had a few accidents here and there, but I has been a pretty good experience so far. Fingers crossed. :)

We have been keeping busy with playdates, parks, and parties. We had our first birthday party of the summer. Theo was the first friend to turn 3. He had a fireman party and they even got a visit from the CR firedepartment. It ws the cutest. As soon as the fire truck drove in all of the boys were on the fron porch screaming and jumping up and down.

Tonight we are packing up for our trip to Minneapolis. We are leaving at the crack of dawn for a fun filled weekend with Ingrid's in-laws. I am excited to meet all of Andrew's family. We are going to the zoo tomorrow, swim in the hotel, and then go out for dinner. It should be a fun weekend.
