Dishes

Saturday night Grandma P went to give Hayden a quick bath in the sink and Hayden refused saying, "Grandma I'm not the dishes!"

So he got his wish and got a bath in the tub. :)

Wild Wild West

Joey and I had a date night on Saturday. We attended a Western Murder Mystery dinner. It was hosted by my MOPS group. It was a fun time.
I was Annie Cokely and Joey was Al E Boyd the train conductor. They took pics and I will be sure to post some if I get a hold of one.

Hayden went to stay with Grandma and Grandpa P. He had a busy time shopping, going to church, and going out to eat. He had a blast and loves to hang out with his grandparents. This was Hayden's first night overnight alone at their house. The report was he was an angel, but kicked Grandpa out of bed and snuggled right next to grandma all night.

It was strange being home alone for the night. We have never been at our house alone for the night without Hayden.

Potty time!!

Hayden decided since it is going to be in the 80's today, that it would be a good day to be naked. I did convince him to put a shirt on.

Hayden went potty today in his potty standing up totally on his own! His aim is a little to be desired, but he did it nonetheless. He still refuses to wear undies. We will have to see what the rest of the day will bring. It will be nap time soon, and I think I will put him in a diaper for that.

16 hours 38 hours

In 14 hours I am starting a fun girls weekend with my "old" friend Sara and my blog friend Jennie. I am so excited! Sara and I have been friends for 22 years (I did the math last night) and Jennie and I have never met.
We are going out for dinner and then to the Mercy Me concert. Then it is back to my place for a sleepover.

Then in 38 hours I get to see my sister and my nephew! I can't wait to get my hands on him. They are staying for the summer. Andrew is in Iraq until August. Prayers for his safe and speedy return would be appreciated.

POTTY!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight Hayden got out of bed because he heard Joey going to the bathroom and decided he wanted to give it a try as well. Hey....any excuse to get out of bed right?!?

AND HE WENT POTTY!!!!!!!

So I had to stick to my word and give him candy at 9:15 at night. With all of the celebrating and dancing, he just settled into bed now at 10:20. I should also point out that he did all of the celebrating with his pants around his ankles. He is amazingly fast and agile with his pants around his ankles. :)

Easter Plans

Hayden and I are headed up to CF today to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa M. They got back from AZ Sunday. We are looking forward to hanging out with them. Saturday morning we are joining the Bellows clan for an Easter Egg hunt.
Joey is arriving Saturday evening after picking his parents up from the airport.
Looking forward to some family time and nice weather.

Catching up

I have not been the best poster lately. I figured I should catch up before Easter. Her is what we have been doing.

Playing lots of Play-doh with his fun new tools he got from "Auntie Shawna"

Getting into mischief. Which is a daily occurrence. In this instance he got a hold of my creamer, which he calls coffee, and took some drinks. I moved it to the furthest back corner of the fridge, and he climbed the shelves to retrieve it.

Trying on some of his old clothes from the goodwill pile.

Making a snowfamily with dad and mom after the 7 inches of snow we got late march.

"Fixing things". He loves to go around the house and measure things and then get the screwdriver and "pinchers" out and fix them. We also spend countless hours outside laying on our stomachs looking at all of his different toys and vehicles underneath and seeing "how it works". Many times throughout the day he calls me over to look with him and see how things work. Can you say mini engineer?

Hayden has been keeping me busy.
